Radon: the silent cause of lung cancer

Date Published: 11/22/2007 [Source]

The surgeon general has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer. N.H. is considered a high-risk state because of abundance of granite.

And according to the EPA nearly one in every 15 homes has an elevated radon level. Residents need to be vigilant in identifying the levels of radon in their buildings, private and public.

Inexpensive radon check kits are available on-line at http://www.radon.com or by calling 1-800-AirChek.
