County asks for more radon tests to be returned


More information to produce an accurate measure of radon levels in local homes is needed.

Chaffee County Environmental Health Manager Wano Urbonas distributed more than 230 radon testing kits since January as part of a $6,000 Environmental Protection Agency grant.

He reported last week only 92 people have returned results.
