East Chicago company will remove mold at Gary schools


The Gary School Board voted 4-2 to award J & K Environmental, Inc. contracts to remove mold at Kennedy-King Middle School and McCullough Girls Academy. The company will be paid $146,425 to provide remediation labor and materials, which will include application of an EPA-approved sealant.
