We hear so much about the dangers of carbon monoxide, leading many to place carbon monoxide detectors in our home. But very few of us know about radon.

Radon can seep into your home through cracks in the basements or the sump pump. Since there's less ventilation this time of year, it is the best time to test your home for radon. The county's health department explained how easy it is to do it with a radon detection kit.
