Health Department Urges Citizens To Test Homes For Radon


The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department is working with the Alton Park/Piney Woods Environmental Health and Justice Collaborative (EJHC) to educate residents about the dangers of radon exposure and to encourage radon testing in their homes. The EJHC consists of the Alton Park Development Corporation, Southside/Dodson Avenue Community Health Center, and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. The collaboration between EJHC and the Health Department will occur during the month of January, in recognition of National Radon Action Month.
