Elevated Radon Levels at Riverside High


Administrators at a Lackawanna County high school are taking precautions after environmental crews found elevated levels of a dangerous gas.

A recent test, the first since the high school was renovated in 2004, uncovered slightly elevated levels of radon, the odorless, colorless gas known to cause lung cancer.
