West School in Grand Forks will not be used for classroom learning during the 2020-21 school year but the building will serve a purpose.
Buildings and Grounds Director Chris Arnold says they plan to use the shuttered school as a storage site for excess school furniture and supplies. That includes everything from file cabinets to tables and chairs.
A facilities task force is studying the future of West in light of water, mold and radon issues that have impacted the school over the past year.
