Greenwich, CT, town health officials are offering discounted radon test kits for town residents testing for the first time. The kits will be available between Monday, Jan. 12, and Friday, Jan. 16.
In a survey of 300 Greenwich homes by Mr. Serafin, a microbiologist with a master's degree in public health, about half had radon levels slightly more than the norm.
An estimated 1 in 3 homes in Connecticut homes have elevated levels of radon.
