University of Nevada Cooperative Extension (UNCE) and the Nevada State Health Division have taken the lead in Nevada to encourage all residents to test their homes for radon. Northeast Clark County residents can find out more about radon and pick up a free test kit by attending a short presentation on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 1:30 p.m. in Mesquite at the College of Southern Nevada, 140 N Yucca, or at 10 a.m. on Dec. 9 in Logandale at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Office, 1897 N. Moapa Valley Blvd.
