Radon, a naturally occurring, colorless and odorless gas that comes from radioactive decay of uranium in soil, is prominent in many areas along the Connecticut coast because of the geology of the region. Health officials are urging all Greenwich homes be checked for radon, after random testing revealed the presence of the radioactive gas in each section of town.
